Babe's Bar-b-que & Brewhouse is located at The River and opened in 2002, the dream come true of founder, Don Callender. People come all the way from Orange County, San Diego and all over the world when they're in town, and it is also a local facorite and all-season hangout for dinner and a movie or shopping. Happy Hour and Monday's Beer Appreciation Day are favorite's here- although you will not be disappointed any time of day you come, as their sweet, fresh, made-from-scratch, chef-created and taste-tested favorites!
TripAdvisor Review: "Our first night in Palm Dessert and we were looking for a restaurant nearby. We were undecisive with pizza or BBQ foods and when search on the net we found this restaurant had both. The decor was cozy and relaxing and the waiter was very attentive. All five of us ordered different dishes and they were all delicious. All three kinds of ribs were tender and have the right touch of smoky BBQ flavor. The beef short ribs were the best and just melt in your mouth. We were all too full to have desserts but the waiter surprised us with a complimentary sampler of peach ginger sorbet which was just refreshing and perfect after a heavy meal. We definitely made a good choice coming to this restaurant."
